Who we are
CallGauge is a call-performance dashboard for home-services businesses, operated by Arktos Marketing ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it. It covers the CallGauge web application and marketing site.
Information we collect
We collect three distinct categories, and we treat them differently:
- Account data — the email address and password hash for each user, the role they hold, and the shop/firm they belong to. We use this to authenticate you and scope what you can see.
- Shop configuration — your shop name, trade, roster of CSRs and technicians, ticket averages, benchmarks, branding, and the ingest token that identifies your webhook.
- Call and job records — the operational data you import, send via webhook, or enter by hand. Depending on what you send, this can include caller names, phone numbers, call notes, transcripts, outcomes, job values and customer-satisfaction entries. This is your data about your customers; we process it on your behalf.
- Billing data — your subscription status and identifiers from our payment processor. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Operational logs — standard request logs and error reports used to keep the service running and diagnose faults.
How we use it
We use your data to provide the service: to authenticate you, to compute your scorecards, KPIs, revenue-at-risk figures and triage scores, to display them back to your team, and to bill your subscription.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your call records or customer information to train machine-learning models, and we do not use one customer's data to benefit another. Published benchmark bands are industry defaults configured per trade, not figures derived from other customers' accounts.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to operate the service. Each processes data only to provide their part of it:
- Supabase — managed PostgreSQL database and authentication (United States).
- Cloudflare — application hosting, CDN and network security.
- Stripe — subscription billing and card processing. Card details go directly to Stripe; they never touch our servers.
- Resend — delivery of transactional email such as account confirmation and password resets.
How your data is isolated and secured
Every record we store carries a firm identifier, and PostgreSQL Row-Level Security policies scope every read and write to a single firm — the database itself refuses to return another firm’s rows. Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS, and data at rest is encrypted by our database provider’s storage layer. Access is governed by per-user roles.
Our Trust & Security page describes these measures in more concrete detail.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete call and job history yourself at any time from Settings. If you cancel, you may ask us to delete your account and its data, and we will do so within 30 days except where we must retain limited billing records to meet tax and accounting obligations.
To request export or deletion, email callgauge@arktosmarketing.com from the address on your account.
Your customers’ data and your obligations
Because the records you put into the service describe your customers, you are the controller of that data and we are your processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and to share it with us — including, where you send call recordings or transcripts, complying with the call-recording and consent laws that apply in your state. Some states require all parties to consent before a call is recorded.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies only: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and the security tokens that protect form submissions. We do not run advertising trackers, third-party analytics profiling, or cross-site tracking pixels.
The public demo
Our public demo is a shared sandbox seeded with fictional data. Anything entered there is visible to other visitors and is deleted and regenerated automatically every night. Do not put real customer information into the demo.
Children
The service is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
If we make a material change to this policy we will update the effective date above and notify account owners by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
